So Much for Tinkering

I found, or rather my wife found, something for me to do with my extra time. Upon arriving home from her job interview and her school teacher duties she announced in a bubbly fashion that she was happily hoping to do some painting today. We have been putting off painting my study ever since we got here, mostly out of lack of energy, time, and occasionally desire. I had no good excuse to say no, and I would like to move into my study sooner rather than later. The painting went rather quick. She tackled the ceiling and I did the walls. I wish it was complete, but we have two more coats for the walls.

We are hoping we will not be forced to sell our new house, either to keep living in the area or relocating for a new job. If we should have to then we will need to wrap up our projects on the house, four of which are painfully obviously not done (even guests can tell we are in the middle of them!). This has added a bit of stress and pressure on our lives. I now have all the time in the world to work on the projects, but we have no money to purchase the supplies. I certainly hope we can keep the house and gradually finish the projects once I am gainfully employed (again).
